Formula One Legends: World Championship 1967

1967 season, the 18th of the history was composed of 11 races and started on January 2nd to be concluded on October 22nd.

Lotus unveiled a new powerful engine, the Ford sponsored Cosworth DFV which immediately show all its potential.

The championship was a challenge in between three drivers, Denny Hulme on Brabham,  Clark on Lotus and the experienced Brabham on its own car. Clark won 4 races, confirming his talent, but Hulme who was supposed to arrive behind Brabham and Clark in the final standing, won instead the title, especially due to its incredible consistency.

Denny wans’t the fastest driver, testified also by the fact he never started in pole position, but was able to don’t do any mistake and leveraged the challenge Clark-Brabham which were taking points each other.

Memorable the victory in the Belgian GP of the Eagle of Dan Gurney: confirming that drivers were extremely good constructors and although with less funds were able thanks to their experience to set up perfect cars.

Well represented by the first two in the final standing, driving Brabham cars.
