Formula One Legends: World Championship 2012

Posted: January 14, 2013 in Formula One, Racing, Sport

After a 2011 season in which just got off the podium twice, Sebastian Vettel had to put on fatigues year that would get his third world championship. Beginning this Sunday, only Juan Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher can look over his shoulder at this lad of 25 years of British comedy lover, who has made his name resound in every corner of the planet only five years later to get to Formula 1.

Despite the sweet ending, 2012 has not been easy for Sebastian, who saw his personal trainer Tommi Parmakoski was leaving to coach a women’s hockey team just months before getting into RB8 at Jerez where he found that ‘Abbey’ would be a traveling companion less friendly than the old ‘Kinky Kylie’.

“In the last two years we had two great innovations: the double diffuser and diffuser system blowing around. Now do not have that and so I think it will be hard to make a difference,” admitted the German in preseason.
