Tzatziki with ‘Nduja
Cooking with The VALiens: Tzatziki with ‘Nduja
Ingredients:
- Cucumbers 3/4 medium
- 1 clove of garlic
- 200g greek yogurt
- 150 gram of ‘ nduja
- some parsley
- extra virgin olive oil salt and black pepper.
Preparation:
Peel the cucumbers in a non-specific so that any trace of green skin remains to give color and flavor to the sauce. Grate then using the classic grater or using the disk of the robot with the smaller holes. In both cases, the comminuted product must be absolutely filtered little at a time, crushing it with a fork in the sieve with a mesh not too small to eliminate the excess water.
Finely chop the garlic in a blender and maybe passing it pounding in a mortar to obtain a garlic cream.
Combine well drained cucumbers and garlic in a bowl, add yogurt and ‘nduja previously melted (ahah, it’s halloween and I tell you now you had to melt it in butter before 🙂 ahahahah) and stir well to mix the ingredients to form a paste.
Complete with oil, season with salt and pepper.
Serve the tzatziki as a starter or appetizer spread on toasted bread or as a side dish for fish or meat.
